Lobi Stars Football Club (The pride Of Benue) plays in Nigerian Premier League is among the professional football clubs in Nigeria and Africa that have participated in so many soccer tournaments with recorded victories.
Since the existence of the club in the year 1981, it has been their wildest dream to train and equip efficient footballers who will continue to make their community and the nation at large proud.
Aper Aku stadium Makurdi, Benue State is their home stadium where they play home games and soccer training with over 20,000 seats for spectators to watch matches.
The Pride of Benue team has achieved so many victories so far as they have participated in the Nigerian Premier League in the year 1999, Nigerian FA Cup in the year 2003 and Nigerian Super Cup in the year 1999.
They have also performed in the CAF Championship League year 2000, CAF Confederation Cup 2004, 2006 and 2012. Also WAFU club championship 2010.
However; not minding all that, the club is still striving for a higher ground so as not to disappoint their fatherland and keep making their state proud as their name implies.
